Training for Individuals and Families

Do you have a bike sitting unused? Would you like to discover a free activity for you or your family? Are you lacking in confidence to ride on the roads, either by yourself or with your friends or children?

Pedal Ready deliver National Standard Cycle Training to the public, on a 1to1 basis, or for families or small groups. This training is currently available free to people living or working in Sheffield and Rotherham. We train all ages of people, of all abilities. We may be able to offer you training if you live elsewhere, please get in touch.

As well as free training sessions funded by local authorities, we also deliver private lessons at a rate of £35 for a 2 hour lesson, and £25 unwaged or for children.

The training begins with a cycle check followed by an initial assessment of the rider. From then the session can be tailored to the needs of the individual and can cover anything from basic riding skills to advanced junctions, roundabouts and busy roads as well as basic cycle maintenance.
