MacAskill Makes Mainstream
The career of trials rider Danny MacAskill has taken another turn as a a star in the new video by the Doves
Since posting his original video on YouTube the cyclist from the Isle of Skye has fielded media enquiries from all over the world - and been seen cycling along walls and railings, up and down trees, and over various pieces of Edinburgh street furniture by more than 5 million viewers.
"I hoped that other stunt riders would like the video, and maybe a few others besides, but when people started contacting me about interviews for TV and things it was crazy. The last few days have been a blur" said MacAskill, who has now given up his job in an Edinburgh bike shop to trials ride as a career.
