The fun of owning a bike is in riding it. Kids understand that all too well, but sometimes it’s difficult to think of where to take them on their bike.
The Sheffield & District CTC working with Pedal Ready offers a number of rides throughout the year aimed specifically for families to come along to. We explore the quiet paths along rivers and canals, and through woods and parks.
If none of our regular rides appeal then you can get in touch with us and ask us to lay on a special ride for you and your family as part of our family training scheme:
We would agree a route with you, meet you at the beginning of the ride, check over your bikes to make sure they’re up to the journey, and then guide you along our chosen route.
We will show you some of our favourite cycling routes in your area, and hopefully they’ll become a family favourite of yours too.
