Book a Bike Buddy session
Bike Buddies are here to help you improve your skills and confidence, and get you going on your bike.
They can ride your route to work with you, making sure you can tackle any road hazards on the way. They can also try and come up with alternative routes for you that are lower traffic or possibly faster.
You can book a Bike Buddy whatever your level of cycling. Bike Buddies can help beginner cyclists find their balance, as well as experienced cyclists tackle the busiest town centre routes.
Bike Buddies can also offer you maintenance tips and check your bike is adjusted to fit you properly. Whatever your cycling needs your Bike Buddy should be able to help.

Would you like to practise your cycling in a safe traffic-free environment? Cycle Confidence is here to help you develop your skills as part of a group of like-minded cyclists and friendly trainers.
Running as a weekly two and a half hour session (in six week blocks) Cycle Confidence supports improving cyclists as they get more familiar with cycle basics and start to apply their skills to complete short journeys around the venue (usually a park) while gently building up their fitness. It may be possible to join a six week course (at Endcliffe Park) after the start date. Contact the Pedal Ready office – see below.
Cycle Confidence courses are free to those who live or work in Sheffield. Bikes are provided. Book now to join sessions in your area!

Tuesdays: Hunters Bar, Endcliffe Park 10am-12.30pm sessions. Six week courses : 9th January – 13th February. You may be able to start after the course has started if there are places.
Thursdays: Hillsborough Park 10am-12.30pm sessions continue every week. High Green 11.30-12.30pm.
