Whether you’d like to make delivering Bikeability your full-time job or you just want to pass on some skills at your local school or youth club, undertaking the National Standard Instructor training is the first step to getting involved with delivering Bikeability.
Our qualified trainers will guide you through the four day National Standard Instructor course, which allows you to become a provisionally qualified instructor who can deliver Bikeability.
To become a fully qualified instructor, you are expected to gain experience of delivering Bikeability so that you can demonstrate competent delivery at a Post-Course Assessment, which should be done within six months of completing the original course.
The four day National Standard Instructor training course can be booked at a cost of £400. Post-Course Assessments cost £150 plus travel costs. It is run from Pedal Ready, Scotia Works, Leadmill Road, Sheffield S1 4SE
